What causes this #text issue in #linux ? I'm using #xfce in #debiansid. I see it now and again, seems to be an issue mainly with #gtk apps from #flatpak. I also see it in #spotify. The app in the image is #joplin with the #Remoods plugin theme. Changing the used font doesn't fix it.

Going to switch my gaming #PC from #debiansid to #popos tomorrow. Current release of debian sid has issues with the nvidia-driver package. Would like my gaming pc to work when i need it to.

No #debiansid fiz a instalação através de chroot, o mais minimal possível e fui instalando os pacotes que precisava.
Fiquei impressionado com a estabilidade (mesmo sendo uma espécie de rolling) e foi a única distro que consegui pôr a funcionar com um par de comandos Pipewire, Headset Bluetooth e a impressora de rede.
Convenceu-me...

Quanto a #devuan parece-me interessante, se utilizar a variante Ceres com o runit 👍

TLDR - Ressuscitei uma máquina desktop, inclino-me para o bleeding edge, simplicidade e uso eficiente de recursos mas...por outro lado o suporte de uma comunidade maior e número de packages pesa na equação.

Sou utlizador de #voidlinux desde a sua criação, tem sido uma verdadeira máquina de carga e é simplesmente um rocket, mas a absência de algumas depêndencias para compilar têm-me levado a recuar ultimamente.

Testei o #debiansid com sucesso durante algum tempo e ainda não provoquei nenhum meltdown a nenhuma máquina (mesmo correndo em um HDD externo em máquinas diferentes) :blobcat_nwn:

O #gentoo iniciei instalação, mas infelizmente o fator tempo dispendido entre compilações, é (quase) um luxo que não posso abrir mão tendo em conta o contexto profissional que ocupa grande parte. Sem estar a tecer comentário depreciativo, é imensurável a quantidade de experiência que se adquire a instalar e configurar um SO como o Gentoo.

Nota: utilizo placa gráfica Nvidia.
