#WarOfTheWorlds s1e10 (1989) - 8/10
Starts slow, gets there in the end.

1️⃣ #DeborahWakeham & #PatrickMacnee are the guest stars. She’s good, he’s underused.

2️⃣ The Ironhorse-Blackwood conflict feels forced/unnecessary. Last week, they were best buds. It’s inconsistent.

3️⃣ The bomb-defusing sequence at the end is well done. It’s tense, and does a lot to save the episode.

4️⃣ Nice parallels in the script between what the aliens say about humans, and how the heroes behave.
