#DecemberDollyDays Finale

2022. A year of many upheavals all around the world.

On a personal note, my husband got a new job and we moved from the humid continental climate of the Northeast to the humid subtropical climate of Florida. I am still unpacking our moving boxes and still discovering things that should be at the house but can't be found.

As December 31st winds down around the world, I bid 2022 farewell and hope that 2023 brings brighter and better things to all.

December 29: Cooking Companion

I'm usually a vocal proponent of rooted hair and fabric clothing for dolls, but those qualities become a problem when I want an extra hand in the kitchen. That's why, as he has done many times in the past, Snorlax is helping me with my Japanese New Year's #osechi preparations!

December 28: It's Always Spooky Season

December 27: We started watching Season 1 of Demon Slayer again, so I allowed myself to open a doll.

December 25: Another Yourself

Takara's Jenny doll had the slogan "Another Yourself", meaning that you could live vicariously through your doll, trying out new fashions and life styles in miniature.

Given that philosophy, it's kind of weird that it's taken me until this year to obtain dolly representations of Belle (one of my favourite Disney princesses) and Laura (Jenny's Friend from Canada).

#DecemberDollyDays December 23: I had a totally different photo lined up (and will probably just post it tomorrow) but we went to Le Cellier, the steakhouse at the Canada area in EPCOT, and when I was too full to order dessert, they gave me a Chocolate Moose Mousse to take home
