I participated today in U.S. Customs and Border Protection's () Technical Expo to discuss and share the role that openly developed, royalty free and free to use standards such as @w3c , @w3c and @w3c play in modernization, visibility and transparency by making multi-party, multi-vendor global possible.

I don't want to see "Here's how to do with !" I want to see more "here's how you parse JSON-LD and use it in a way that actually gives you a measurable improvement for the challenges you are facing," "here's a library that will do the resolution and validation of the metadata for you," and "here's a test suite for building systems that will work with this."

Despite pouring over a lot of resources on this I can't really figure out what it is really for.

People talk about and and things like that but structures are neither necessary nor sufficient to get the internet there.

Everything I find seems to go:

1. Everything on the internet everywhere gets correctly labeled and the internet becomes a giant graph database.
2. ???
3. Security, search, and interop are solved!

Been a while since I've updated y'all about .

Well, we can insert credentials under transaction with a very nice interface: a keypair and a claim map.

Underneath, it's 99%-compliant with and standards, but on the surface it just gives programmers what they care about!

Here's how to insert a credential / claim in : git.sr.ht/~doma/do-auth/commit
