All this goes to show that a centralized Internet is NOT acceptable. Back in the 2000s if a service shut down, you just moved on to the next one. I was on so many forums and when one shut down, I, along with many other members, would just go to the next. February 6 is the day I find out if my panel's been selected to run at #C2E2. It's about #decentralization ; the movement to #DecentralizeTheInternet and I'm going thru a tough time right now so getting that would be... ugh. So amazing. Then again if I didn't get it, I'd be able to breathe as it's one less thing on my... not overful but more like very stressed... plate.

This is a win/win, right? I'm looking forward to getting the news from C2E2 about this panel no matter what.
