@raucao if it were me strategically I’d make the same choice.

Like one _could_ design a system with explicit extension or interop goals but then you are tightly coupled to that other system.

There are at least half a dozen less adopted #DecentSocial protocols that also don’t do AP interop.

@edsu Probably yes. There was some discussion in #SocialCoop, #DecentSocial and the #EUpolicy bubble about this, like https://eupolicy.social/@ilumium/109293143075497685 (I try to keep links at https://codeberg.org/fediverse/fediparty/wiki/Collectively-owned-instances ).

I think there are two main approaches:
1) coops which actually host the instances (or a meta-coop which federates them) also host a process to manage the moderation;
2) instances of all sorts participate in the burden of moderation through a service coop which buys/sells services to facilitate it.

I registered last minute for #DecentSocial then insomnia intervened and I missed it anyway.
