Sainsburys have a Favourites section - your most bought items. They've started adding lots of sponsored items with a small label interspersed, awful deceptive pattern. Could be dangerous too, what if someone thinks its the item they normally buy but this one has an allergen?

I was buying something in a webshop and noticed a "1 item left in stock" message, which turned out to be fake.

At first, I was suspicious that the notification might be fake. I took screenshots before and after buying the item. Afterwards, I sent the evidence to the consumer agency.

Beware the roach motel.

"Cancel Service" is located in a reasonably placed section of the account home after logging in.

Clicking the button leads to a screen asking whether to cancel some or all services.

Ticking "all" reveals a set of selections to indicate the reason. Options include: moving, another provider for speed, another provider for price, financial hardship, military, deceased, disaster, and other.

It only works on one website: Booking.com. But it eliminates these aggressive practices while maintaining all the website’s functionality.
