so I see the new Wizards dnd Supplement is revolves around the #DeckOfManyThings
and I think that's great, I've always found the printed version of it a little lacklustre. the idea is wonderful with the emphasis on the wonder.. you know its something Magical and rare and filled with *potential* . I hope they include some levers and options for GMS to customise their deck of many things results - and maybe provide some guidance around the kind of sidequests it can spawn. ..

@a_hungry_fool it’s a LOT to keep track of! I mean during one of my first sessions, someone pulled a #DeckOfManyThings (don’t ask how they got it). Instantly transported to the #PlaneOfAir - way off script and I just had to make it up as I went along. But yes…. Preparation is key.

Hubby brought out his #deckofmanythings to compliment the #dnd campaign he's putting together for the high school. I just love how he looks through them and gets all excited about which ones he's going to use. He shows me the art and smiles on his own. There is something about tactile items that really are fun to have around, despite the love for digital. :)

In other news, I got the Deck of Many Things and Deck of Illusions that I ordered from Etsy in the mail yesterday! So happy with how they look. Unfortunately, I now have -2 to all saving throws 🙁
