if you download deckyloader & install some plugins but find that nothing seems to work, or if you haven't installed it yet but wanna avoid this issue, try using the desktop installer and set the version you install to stable. then download a plugin that you can use out of the box like vibrantdeck, and it should work. doing this will save you a headache.

So removing #deckyloader didn't help (only big third party thing I installed, so thought it might be the problem).

Funny thing: You can't remove deckyloader without network. I opened an issue on their repo:

I now have the Steam Deck Dock, booted into #Linux with a wireless keyboard and mouse and installed #DeckyLoader.

Happy with today’s customisations.

If you manually re-install the latest version of Decky Loader in Desktop mode it's now working again on Steam Deck Beta/Preview channels.

If you manually update the Plugins after that, most are working again

Don't usually like using photos when I can use screenshots but it's very late and I'm too tired to do this properly.

Discovered the wonders of #DeckyLoader on the #SteamDeck, so now I've got the Wii background (which is the cleanest one I could find, shame there is no darkmode Wii theme). But more importantly, the #MetaDeck plugin to track non-Steam games playtime, so I can know exactly how much time I waste on #PokeWorld, as well as emulated Wii/GCN or GoG games if I get round to them. #gaming

Question for #steamdeck #deckyloader users. I installed the protondb plugin which works great but what I can’t figure out is the following. Sometimes I want to copy launcher options from the protondb website/window but I can seem to do that? What’s the best way to do that?
