#DecoderRing is doing a repeat of their You've Got Mail / Barnes and Noble episode.

The first time I thought it was funny the enemy wasn't amazon, and that IS still true, but Barnes and Noble has the promotional parts of the publishing industry by the balls. They've elected to do less Young adult and middle grade displays, which will hurt smaller authors.

Also I have mixed feelings (I hope it's not a sign I'm getting old) on their booktok section.

That said I sometimes use barnes and noble for manga and some comics because bookshop dot org has a hard time with manga volumes. It's strange.

@edwardchampion #DecoderRing is one of my favorites! I just listened to the one about the history of the protest convoy. I have a vinyl from the 70s of popular songs about trucking, I think it came from a Goodwill in Cincinnati Ohio
