Workshop 1 on "Developing a decolonial lens to German Global Health" last Nov left us with lots of inspiration, insights, & questions - thanks to stellar speakers Agnes Binagwaho, Themrise Khan, Emma Rhule, Ceporah Mearns, Angela Schuster, @muneera_rasheed.

Workshop 2 is coming up, with @CKyobutungi@matodon.sdf.org, Hannah Strohmeier, Caroline Mtaita and Poornima Thapa.

Looking fw to great (albeit often difficult) discussions!

A belated . I'm a cultural and media historian, currently writing a book on the 'end' of empire and mid-century BBC Radio, focusing on cultural programming and writers (EM Forster, Louis MacNeice, Doris Lessing, Muriel Spark, George Lamming, Stuart Hall). I also work on the histories of black British feminist activism. Hoping to learn and join in conversations on and , and British colonial ideology.

Kick-off was 2 weeks ago, with the stellar speakers below + 50 participants.
Next workshop is in Jan & I look very much forward!!!
