A book we read that might interest you is "Scattered All Over the Earth' by Yōko Tawada. It's a dystopia that talks a lot about what happens to language and culture when countries no longer exist, including a fictional constructed language called "Panska"

Open up the traditional literary canon (and legitimized academic study) to writers of color, non-western authors, out queer authors, women authors, and everyone else. Let books stand on merit, not privilege.

It's happening in American academia, slowly, but is it happening in publishing and public school? What about worldwide?
