I sat on my husbands little step & made the borders wider yesterday evening, then started filling it in. Someone drove past as I was drawing it, stuck a DSLR out the window, stopped & took photos of me. 🙈 I was still painting lines when darkness fell, which was a mistake coz my lines got a bit drunk with the paintbrush (that's my excuse & I'm sticking to it!)

I'm sitting in our living room watching an amazing job my husband did on the wall behind the furnace today. It really looks good but does not fit into our living space at all. It's too neat, too sterile. It's something you'd see in magazines, but it has no soul. Luckily, my husband and I share the view on this problem.
I almost feel violated with the neatness of it all. It doesn't feel like my home ... we need to fix this soon as possible 😳

I've added the mirrored butterfly to the loo door. They were cheap years ago, so I thought they'd be less reflective than tin foil. It turns out that they're actually a good mirror 😲
I'm still pondering how to transfer writing. I've asked Mr F if he has Carbon paper. I don't really wanna buy a receipt book just for the carbon paper at the back, coz I've dozens in storage & an actual BOOK just of carbon paper.

I would like to decorate my loo door.
This is it. And this is the kinda thing I have in mind.
As you can see, they must be simple things to draw coz I can barely hold a pen these days with issues with my hands.

I've a box of acrylic tubes for paint and a tiny paintbrush.

Any other suggestions as to what I could add on the other stripes?

I spent quite a lot of time recently affixing vinyl checkerboard tile to the ceiling of my Wonderkand kitchen. It was a lot of balancing on ladders, but I’m happy how it turned out.

We've been busy working on our front porch, which needs the railing re-painted and the deck restained. As part of the process of cleaning things, I tried brasso at first and then Bar Keeper's Friend on an outdoor big box store decoration that was badly tarnished.

That was certainly a mistake...resulting in pulling out my exterior paints and redoing it. I also touched up the wood mini-fence we made along the wall that covers the old concrete porch residue.
