Ah, the joys of #aging. Apparently I'm experiencing a posterior vitreous detachment in my left eye, mate to the PVD my right eye had two years ago. Have to call the #ophthalmologist in the morning. #decrepitude

This article on #cleaning out a #parent's home reminds me of Atwul Gowande's excellent book #BeingMortal.

Most of us don't plan for our own #decrepitude, waiting instead for a critical incident to render us incapable of living in our own home.

After my #dad died, I had to clear out three decade's of junk including piles of newspapers with a combined height of 25 feet, six broken coffee makers and a tailor's dummy.

Anyone else find weird stuff in a parent's gaffe?
