Deep breathing has many benefits for both physical and mental health. It can help reduce stress and anxiety, improve focus, and promote relaxation. Deep breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, also known as the “rest and digest” system, which helps to conserve energy and promote bodily processes such as digestion and urination. It also activates the vagus nerve, which oversees mood, digestion, and heart rate. insidehook.com/article/health-

This resonant frequency test in the HRV4Biofeedback app is a nice way to determine your ideal breathing rate based on your own physiology.

Although I think it slightly overestimated my ideal breathing rate, it was able to recognize that the setting needed a downward adjustion.
