I find air "fryers" (actually compact convection ovens) are great for roasting things. I use mine constantly.

For some reason I don't like the idea of heating a pot of oil to a high temperature to cook things — fire danger, oil disposal, so much fat, etc. - Plus MUCH more time required overall than air fryer, which is QUICK.

But that's me. Still, nothing wrong that I can see with roasting.

I like the idea of things like deep fried stuffed courgette flowers but, honestly, I can't be faffed with the fiddliness of it all.
