@cliffwade yeah, so - my Tapo camera points out of the back window and during the day does a good job of picking up motion, which is then snapshotted by #HomeAssistant and fed in to #DeepStack to check if it's really a person.

At night however, the camera isn't as good at picking up motion (I have IR turned off because it is behind glass) so I thought I could use a PIR to detect movement and then snapshot it, deepstack it and decide if the light needs turning on.

Playing around with Deepstack AI. Image analysis to make my CCTV system smart and to get alerts when there is really a person and not clouds hovering over the sunlight.

Promising technology, seems to work pretty good!
