If you've paid for #DeepSwap using #PayPal, you can cancel recurring payment ... but if you were signed out of PayPal when you made the purchase or used some other means of payment, you're stuck.

Finally, I found the DeepSwap discord, where there are literally hundreds of messages from people demanding account cancellation. These seem to be being processed, one at a time, by one employee.

I got confirmation of cancelation today, but wanted to warn you: don't sign up for this scam.

I use #Midjourney to create characters, and thought I might use a tool like #DeepSwap to bring some of these to life.

#DeepSwap claims to make it easy to map one face over another. The output, though, is pixelated and terrifying: like seeing a human skin mask stretched awkwardly over another human's face.

Worse: while it's easy to sign up for the service, there's no cancellation possible on the website. "You must contact your credit card company to cancel the monthly recurring payment."
