IMMER ging es nur gegen die großen Firmen und nie wurden die Verbraucher "belästigt", was mir mit der Zeit aufstieß. There is no class-action settlement for the cleanup workers & coastal residents who fell ill years after the #DeepwaterHorizon oil spill. Due to the terms of an earlier settlement, they must sue #BP individually to be compensated for their chronic injuries, & many of the cases are under a court order that prevents them from seeking punitive damages.
Now, thousands of cases have been dismissed. Only one known case has resulted in settlement.

#HarryAndMeghan seem to have hired a GREAT #PublicRelations firm. Same one #WillSmith uses? Though less of a disaster than #DeepwaterHorizon, in the category of English exports, "fish & chips" is much to be preferred over these #WaywardWindsors.

Read 2 papers about what happens to CH4 in the water column. One from onsite inspection after #DeepWaterHorizon. But that's in 800-1200m. Needless to say, CH4 doesn't make it to the surface. Bacteria eat methane, CH4 is oxidised to CO2 (which acidifies the ocean. Bad!).
