After watching the neighborhood deer munch our apples, we decided to install an 8-feet deer fence.
We chose plastic fencing due to the weight, with just two of us lifting it for installation.
We used ‘no dig’ sleeves for the poles, and our auger to help drill holes in the hardpacked dirt for the sleeves. We used some new tools - a gripple for the tension line, and a dado blade and hog panels for the gates.
