One of the things I learned as a journalist/editor is that life is never as simple as you want it to be.

There will be complications to your day, your life, and your worldview, and you need to reexamine those priorities and thoughts you have in light of new information.

Journalism has also given me new ways of seeing the world, of opening up to thoughts I would have dismissed before working for Rappler.

We need good, honest journalism.
