@canadaehx John Grodzinski tells an incredible story in his book "The 104th New Brunswick Regiment of Foot in the War of 1812", about their #LongMarch (>1,000 km during the depth of a bitter winter) in the #DefenseOfCanada. One of its soldiers was my 4x-great-grandfather David Mason, btw thank you for this discovery Ancestry.com!

Ironically, one copy of this book ⬇️ has its own incredible journey to tell my descendants, having crossed the ocean 6 times in its attempted way to my son in Greece!
