Un centenar de familias denuncian la falta de pediatras en Vallecas 📢🧑‍⚕️🏥

Hace unas semanas, Paula, una joven madre y vecina del distrito de Puente de Vallecas, denunciaba por medio de un vídeo que compartía desde sus redes sociales, las graves carencias y falta de personal en los centros de Salud del distrito, con especial atención en la falta de pediatras.

Paula, tuvo que acudir a otro centro de salud o a Urgencias con su bebé, tras tener que marcharse de su centro de salud de referencia (el centro de salud Campo de la Paloma) sin que su hija de 7 meses hubiera sido atendida al no haber pediatra y al saber que no lo habrá al menos hasta el mes de Octubre.

A raíz de este vídeo y la inmensa cantidad de visualizaciones (con 183.000 reproducciones), los retuits y la redifusión desde multitud de cuentas y plataformas de redes sociales, más de un centenar de familias de Puente Vallecas se han organizado para protestar por la grave falta de pediatras.

En una primera asamblea en la que participaron más de 50 familias y en la que también participó la Plataforma en Defensa de la Sanidad Pública de Vallecas, conformada por las Asociaciones Vecinales, AFAS y profesionales de la salud que trabajan en el distrito, decidieron convocar una protesta este miércoles 19 de Julio a las 20h en el Centro de Salud Federica Montseny, con el objetivo de visibilizar y denunciar esta grave situación. El Centro de Salud Federica Montseny es la sede de la Dirección de Atención Primaria de la zona Sureste de la capital.
