I only hope #McCarthy truly wants to get the #deficitceiling done prior to #Default. His admiration of #Trump, #MTG Etc. makes him always a head scratcher. But, the #Dems inside the Capitol would know probably better than us on Mastodon or in the media If #Scalise or someone else is more likely to get them to pass the #debtceiling...Then, maybe, the #dems should call for a new election ? If The calculus of calling for a new speakership election is worth it? If it isn't than stick with McCarthy.
