So I #defrosted my #freezer to see if it then uses less #power. It uses 25% more after #defrosting and switching back on. (After 1 day to equilibriate.) It contains much less stuff now; so used less #power when it was fuller and had frosted-up elements. #efficiency

My small freezer started defrosting and so have spent the last hour handing out defrosted goodies to all and sundry, cooking up dishes and throwing some stuff out. What a pain in the proverbial.
