Has anyone who is bad at #naps managed to get good at naps?
I am a chronic #insomniac and late riser, I am trying to wake up earlier on a regular basis, and I might benefit from being able to take a short midday nap.
But howwww?
(Yes, I'm familiar with #delayedsleepphasedisorder and the concept of biphasic or #polyphasic sleep. I've been terminally online for 28 years, so please only reply from personal experience, thanks.)

Latest tool in my #Insomnia & #DelayedSleepPhaseDisorder toolbox: library audiobooks in Libby app, speed turned down, sleep timeout on. (Gauge and moon icons.) Cozy mysteries that I've read before.

@camille @adhdjesse has spoken about this before on the bird site #DelayedSleepPhaseDisorder #ADHD

Anybody else on here with delayed sleep phase disorder? I procrastinate sleep in a way that does not play well with ME/CFS, but I don’t know how to get my brain to quiet down so I can actually have a chance of being somewhat rested for work the next day

One or two days to #SummerSolstice depending how you count it. At this point I’ve pretty much given up on attempts at regular #sleep and I’m just letting it happen whenever. Ever since I properly fixed my #DelayedSleepPhaseDisorder and became a #MorningPerson by moving to the country and spending plenty of time #outdoors in the #garden, I’ve had this trouble at #midsummer. Thinking of trying #melatonin next year, but for now I’m just rolling with it until January.

I can sleep all day, no probs. Just don't make me go to bed before midnight, nor wake up before 10am.
