What is the reason? Cost (->B2)? Comfort? Potential #DDoS? Any other reason?

Unfortunately, Misskey doesn't work in TorBrowser at all, even when a user approves #JavaScript via the NoScript interface. Is invasive javascript used?

If one doesn't have the skills to setup a #fediInstance, don't run an instance. Especially don't entrust CloudFlare to set it all up, and then to effectively have them #spying on you and your friends.
We will be blocking the official CloudFlare instance (cloudflare.social) at the first opportunity, and in all seriousness it ought be 'a thing'.

Woah! We finally had a chance recently to check the hacked #Medibank website.
Apparently the #healthInsurance company that got hacked, is #reverseProxied from #AmazonCloudFront servers. So in effect, Australian's data was "hacked" by a US entity first using #socialEngineering.

Or some other foss captcha.
Consider removing racist #extremists who seem to attract the DDOS attacks
Setup #redundancy
Block particular types of requests
Have a backchannel to trusted users to give them a new I2P address (last resort).

Visit too #financial websites you use in #TorBrowser, after pressing Ctrl+Shift+E to get up the network tab. If the HTTP response from the server says Cloudflare, congratulations. You have the best reason to find a new service.
