In the #past I would have said “Eff this, who needs it?” and #deleted my #mastodon #account. But now I’ve worked over the past few weeks since my #return to set my #timeline up to where it works for me. I’m not in a hurry to abandon that. Will it last? Time will tell.

Reporting - NBC News’ Pete Williams, Julia Ainsley IG probe into #DHS regarding missing #SecretService #TextMessages hailing from January 5th & 6th 2021 has now officially turned into a #criminal #investigation after reports revealed the text messages being sought by the #J6 House Select Committee were conveniently #deleted after their request for the evidence was already made. DHS IG informed Secret Service investigation is now criminal. Last #backup 2 weeks ago, so before I started. The backup helped recover the supporting files.
I recovered most source files from open files in the text editor - it was set not to reload changes files (whew).
In the end, only #git history is gone. I should push to my server (with daily #snapshots) more often.
All in all, redoing a week of recent work is not terrible, so I'm okay with my system.

Any deleted iMessages / conversations that you have deleted within the last 30 days can be undone. 1, Open messages and double tap the edit button at the top of the screen. 2, Swipe and choose Show recently deleted. 3, In the list, find the one you want to retrieve / Undelete. 4, Flick up with one finger and choose recover. 5, It will ask you to confirm this. 6, Then when your done retrieving all of the messages you want, just double tap the done button to go back to your regular list of messages. #iPhone #Tip #iMessage #Retrieve #Deleted #Voiceover #Blind

This is only a #memory from the #past but when I actually did #buy #hdds off of #ebay. I #found some #porn not deleted, #family #pictures not deleted, #weirdporn #deleted but I #recovered out of #curosity sake. 😂 There was one which was a bunch of #cat #pics.
Also if you #selling your HDDs do #delete the #data #clean off. There's a ton of porn you don't want your #customers seeing 😂😂
