Rant: are thee #Dell or a #Windows #Laptop issues?:
- not properly shutting down when folded. -Starting back up while in backpack (plus points for windows update and then heat death)
- Not properly recovering from hibernate

I just had to plug in an external battery (for phones) to get my laptop to properly start up again. 🤷

@veroandi in my experience, it has been a bit trickier than that. While buying a Windows license is expensive, the price difference in a laptop pre-installed with #linux vs #windows is almost non-existent for laptop purchases I've looked into at the past ( #dell #Lenovo ). Due to the non-difference, I've always bought laptops with #windows (I get a licensed installation on my machine for 'just in case'), then either setup dual boot, or completely wiped out windows after.
