Can't update my Dell firmware because my Dell battery charger sucks. When I go to their instructions on how to bypass, they tell me it may brick my computer and they aren't responsible for damages. Sure, you're a corporation, so you get to dictate what you're responsible for and I'm just a passenger in the process.

I wouldn't be in this mess if the original charger and its replacement and its replacement's replacement hadn't all flaked out within days of purchase. I literally have the current one duct taped and superglued into place, and can only use my laptop on a desktop.

Well, almost 6pm and the laptop is still a mess...I managed to get all my important files moved over to my portable hdd, so tomorrow I'll restore. I think the problem is related to the Win11 22H2 update...think something got corrupted somewhere as it's only 30% installed and it's been going consistently for almost 8 hours now. #dellsucks #windowssucks
