thinking back on the #DellTechnologiesForum today

I get the feeling that #Dell is living in the past - or selling only at an enterprise level and failing to connect with #SMEs

I went to 3 seminars in the #FutureOfWork track, and detected a bit too much #GreenWashing

Normally, what I like about conferences is a #HallwayTrack

With all the noise and the ill chosen background music, any type of conversation (in the gaps between seminars) was hard work

hence I left early!

Unexpectedly, I had a half day off, after a (noisier than anticipated) half day at the #DellTechnologiesForum

It wasn't really "time off". I got down to work on the seminar I'm running in January.

The Universal Problem Solving Technique is a one hour talk which I'm presenting at #DDDnorth in Hull next month.

It's also a 3 hour workshop, for people who actually want to solve problems.

after sitting quietly for 10 mins I took that photo and decided not to go back in

the only quiet space to sit down is a small collection of concrete posts outside the #dell venue (far right of this photo)

inside is constant noise with a background sound track that seems to be a constant boom boom boom BOOM on a loop

not particularly user friendly
