I was replacing the charging port on a Dell Vostro, better known in the UK as a DSA laptop because it's what you used to get given by student finance if you were a disabled undergrad student. The charging port is a common fault. The part was cheap on Amazon but took a while for delivery. It took me about an hour and those tools to fix, even though I didn't know what I was doing.
