I'm working on a short story, and I'm stuck on a #dV calculation that I don't know how to make.

Can someone tell me the approximate #DeltaV required to transfer from elliptical Martian orbit to Jovian (aerobraking) encounter? Ballpark is fine.

My guess, based on the solar system subway map, is around 6 km/s. But that's just a stab in the dark.

Just got a new space Sim game on steam, Delta V: Rings of Saturn (its the Greek triangle for delta). And this game is awesome. The learning curve is wasn't so bad, and I wish they had better explanations for stuff, but the game is so fun! After a couple hours, I am hooked. Looking forward to playing again. #spaceship #rpg #space #sim #deltaV
