It was great to be able to explain a bit about some of the work Green Shores is doing to restore saltmarsh in Scotland to the #Deluge project, as part of #ArtWalkPorty
We were at the salt marsh at Aberlady (not one of our restoration sites), a beautiful location with a board walk over the marsh to provide access to the beach beyond and prevent damage to the fragile habitat.

A wave of over 100 trucks 🚚 of #concrete late last month marked the opening salvo in #SpaceX’s efforts to fill in the hole 🕳️ that was left after the maiden flight of #Starship.

The small collection of pieces that needed to be replaced in my Deluge. One encoder has been wonky for a while, so when the tip of the cable broke inside the input jack I figured it was a good excuse to replace it, then another encoder snapped off while doing the repair (my fault for not supporting the unit properly).

A bit harrowing desoldering/soldering in an expensive device with many tiny smd components at every angle, but got it done!

Always fun making glitchy beats out of live-recorded samples. In this case the melody was played on the #MicroFreak then recorded by the #Deluge where I resample it into quick slices to mangle in a kit (short clip from a long set).
