You can't simultaneously complain about "cancel culture" while supporting the censorship, or in the case of Florida, outright removal of, African American studies from curriculums, and banning books on topics that you don't agree with from libraries. You can't have it both ways. You either recognize that this is a pluralistic and diverse society and you respect the choices/beliefs of others even if you disagree with them, or you want a theocratic government to impose YOUR beliefs on everyone, in which case you are no friend of democracy or of free speech/thought. It's really that simple.
