@JEF_Europe It will be important to get involved. When young people get active in a (regular) political party & run for elections, they contribute to democracy as much as one could do. Ofc media, civil society, academia etc. are also essential to strengthen democracy. #DemocracyUnderPressure

@JEF_Europe 1st: It’s about character. Elected officials must behave in an incorruptible manner. 2nd: The transparency rules must be developed. 3rd: We need more accurate definitions of bodies we interact with. “NGO” can be used for structures of different natures. #DemocracyUnderPressure

@JEF_Europe Yes. All Union citizens deserve to see their fundamental rights defended by the EU no matter what their nationality would be. We had worked parliamentary to achieve the leverage through money to serve the citizens. In case it will work for each country! #DemocracyUnderPressure
