I've had a real great writing experience with the #Kaweco #Perkeo. It's such a good writer and such a fun design.

I decided to get some more. The blue is the one I already had. The black I call my #licorice pen. and the clear is my first #demonstrator.

Each of them came with four blue cartridges and an empty, gonna use those for my liliput.

Nasa & Darpa announce demonstrator nuclear rocket test in space by 2027.

Why significant? Dual-mode has 2.5x higher thrust in thermal rocket mode, or it can create huge specific impulse in electric mode (working like an ion engine).

Enables reasonable travel speeds across the solar system. Plus. Since the reaction mass doesn’t burn, it can pick up water for example at it’s destination and ”refuel”.

New year, old me.
