Do you know the tool #Demucs? Itβs a great software for separating a song in several instruments. Mainly drums, bass, vocals, others. I tried it yesterday and the result was just amazing. Especially in case of drums π
I just used #demucs (audio sources separator) for the first time with a track from #pinkfloyd and the results COMPLETELY BLEW MY MIND!!! π€―ββββπ€―β
Found how to install/use it here: https://www.linuxlinks.com/machine-learning-linux-demucs-music-source-separation/

So, we now have GPU support from PyTorch on M1, but how can one utilize this for #Demucs if at all? I am not able to find any references!
Holy shit, using #demucs to separate songs into individual stems is a revelation. So incredibly useful for picking out reference tracks for mixing!
Tried using it to extract bass tracks out of the album And Justice For All by #metallica. Big chunks of the track were just dead silence where it couldn't find any bass, lol.
