Is the presence of in the genome evidence that the Denisovans arrived in this land before aboriginal people?

Couldn't they have interbred before anybody arrived in Australia & brought the DNA with them?

While evidence of the Denisovans is found only in Russia today, surely the group could've been much larger & spread over other regions in the past.

The Denisovans are an extinct group of fossil humans who, along with their sister group the Neanderthals, also share an ancestor with Homo sapiens.
