We had a nice surprise when Stripe, a shy young male #fox showed up late into the evening. The light was truly terrible as these were taken at 21.45 this evening with no artificial lighting. I shot at ISO 25600, f/5.0 and shutter speed of 1/25. That there's anything to see is down to #Lightroom #denoise feature. Noise is an issue in night photos so here is a comparison image, the left hand side has been treated with Topaz Photo AI whilst the right hand side is unedited. Clearly Topaz managed to remove a significant amount of noise without really affecting the image much.

Die neue LR-Version von heute entrauscht jetzt auch ganz ordentlich. Leider kann ich DxO PureRaw 3 in diesen Test nicht mit einbeziehen, weil die Testversion abgelaufen ist und ich noch nicht - vielleicht zum Glück - upgadatet habe.

I'm getting a lot of good out of #DeNoise but so far I'm underwhelmed with #Sharpen. IDK if I'm just feeding it files that it can't handle, or I need to play with it more, or if it isn't really All That.

I had my #DSLR for quite a few years before friends convinced me trying using #RAW format. But I still mostly use #LightRoom on Android for quick, easy adjustments to lighting.

Recently shot a wedding (not a professional!), and the dim lighting left some photos noisy, but a trial of ON1 worked wonders for decreasing noise. #denoise

What's your process, and what parts do you like or dislike?
