My work is on the #mouth and #body, because of this thematic interest I am also interested in the #sociology of #consumption since consumption is central to #oralhealth. My current project is industry funded by #Haleon looking at #toothloss and #denturecare.

Just finished clinical observations of 9 new denture patients journeys through treatment. A further 6 lined up for treatment. So much going on in the process it is going to be challenging getting it all conceptualised. One of the interesting touchstones of care is the 'try in' stage which is when the object becomes a reality for the patient for the first time. #denturecare#dentistry #sociology #oralhealth
