I just wanted to post a fun photo today.
Shot last summer at the #DenverBotanicGardens during a macro photography class. Was lloking through my shots for reference to do something for a photo challenge. And saw this.
Even among all the colors there this gentleman just radiated. Had to click.

Photographed a spray of #Phalaenopsis (Moth) #Orchids with a new f/1.8 35mm prime lens and fast shutter speed. Focusing distance of the lens is 1 ft. so easy to get fairly close. My favorite flowering tree is the Desert Willow. It's pink bell shaped flowers are such a stark contrast to a dry desert landscape. They grow in a microclimate at #DenverBotanicGardens so no need to travel to Utah to photograph them. This close-up photo of the blossoms is overlaid in camera with another photo of rippling water for an artsy effect.

One of my favorite areas at the Denver Botanic Gardens was the peaceful Japanese Garden. I love the fall colors!
