And yes, this is an #autistic #actuallyAutistic / perpetual #AutisticBurnout vibe. Other vibes for your consideration:
Feeling like you're drowning, or treading water, but all the time
Feeling like you're perpetually falling into a dark sinkhole or quicksand
Feeling like you're stuck being bumped around in a dryer on its spin cycle
That eery #depersonalisation #derealization feeling of "the world is moving too quickly around me and I am moving too slowly"

A wonderful presentation by @AnnaCiaunica on coembodiment.
What can we learn about #depersonalisation and Self-awareness by means of a developmental perspective?
A great conceptual trajectory!

@AuntyChrist As someone who also genuinely loved Moon (2009) & has signs of #dissociation (as well as #depersonalisation) at times, I offer you these empathetic hugs :pleading_hearts: :fluffyhugs:
For me personally though, sleep isn't death or oblivion: it's more like system maintenance. I'm reluctant to say #downtime, as my dreamspace / sleepmode is always very active.
Perhaps it's more akin to an active defrag or SSD TRIM for me?
#dissociation #depersonalisation #downtime
@faithisleaping Same, same :trans_heart:
I only recently came across common symptoms of depersonalisation & recognised many of them from throughout my life, particularly from my teenage years onwards.
E.g.,
β’ Feeling like an outside observer of thoughts, feelings, body etc.
β’ Feeling like a robot.
β’ Emotional/physical numbness to the world around me.
β’ A sense that memories lack emotion or that they aren't your memories.

Finding that I have a personality, at 40+, is absolutely wild. Still figuring out how to bridge it over to the offline world #Depersonalisation
