Okay, I am realizing that finding $5 million to produce my next film is an unrealistic, unreasonable expectation. So I have revised my thinking.

I only need $3.7 million.

Made it to page 106 of the screenplay! Should be able to finish the first draft next weekend. I've been so dialed in that it's been easier than I expected; or rather, tough but in a satisfying way.

Wowsers, it's happening! 70 pages into my first draft. My goal is to finish by the end of the month--and then, of course, the hacking down and revisions and anguish can truly begin!

(By the way, I am using Fade In as my screenwriting software and I absolutely recommend it.)
