Finally starting the cover to my wordless art comic, “Feather” (24p, coming out in September from Field Mouse Press!)—which means I’m nearing the end.

I’m going to miss working on this one. The materiality of the media, the physicality of the work has been very healing through a time of grief and transition.

I really enjoyed painting this little watercolour, building up the image with dots of colour.
I enjoyed the process of painting it, and I’m pleased with the dappled, expressive effect that this style of working created.

Getting more and more annoyed during yesterday's bad art day session, I furiously scribbled out this drawing of a path leading into the autumn forest. Looking at it today, I don't hate it as much.

I tried to draw my #daruma ! I used #watersolubleoilpastels and #derwentinktense colored pencils, a golden #poscapen and a black Japanese brush pen. He looks a bit bewildered but it was fun.
