Something I really appreciated about #DesertBus2022 this year was how purposeful they were about making it easier on the volunteers by scaling back the number of prizes and giveaways they do. And they still raised $1.134 million USD in a week.

Thanks again to Loading Ready Run for starting the telethon and the Desert Bus for Hope crew for continuing this annual, lovely tradition.

Okay, so the #DesertBus2022 is rolling on and can I just say that it's really encouraging to me (as a person who uses a variety of walking aids) to see someone on screen also using one to do something like enter and leave the main camera frame.

Also, mobility issues can be intermittent! It's okay to need them one day and not need them on another! I have to tell myself this one a lot.
