Yeah, that is one problem for me as well. I am currently using it, and after I switched from #DesignSpark, I hsd to convert sll of my designs from .rsdoc to #Fusion360 format by redesigning all of them.

Now I am knee deep in the ecosystem, and I am so afraid they remove the free version or remove a feature I use and need.

It used to be owned and created by #Google. They then sold it, and it just didn't get updated and improved over the years.

The UI and design are outdated, and they lack many modern features.

I moved to #DesignSpark, but thersdoc format isn't used by many in the #3dprinting world and I needed parametric designs and the timeline featue, so I moved so #Fusion360 as my daily driver and #OpenSCAD for simpler parametric designs I intend to share with others.

#Blender is more for 3D models like #minifigures and similar models that have those high details but don't have all the technical features of #onShape and #Fusion360.

If that is what you want, Blender has the best community for it. Otherwise, I highly recommend Fusion360.

I switched to Fusion360 from #DesignSpark and never looked back. I found it very easy to learn and actually never used any tutorials, I just spent 100s of hours in it, but it also had a massive #YouTube and #Reddit community.

Loved writing this piece for #DesignSpark about two Welsh valleys and the use of hydro power! For 2.5D jobs on my Chinese 6040 I use #DesignSpark Mechanical (free from RS) and export the #DXF to #Estlcam (bargain) which is a highly configurable #CAM tool for pocketing, routing, drilling etc. Great results. Hope that helps. Have fun.
