Hey y'all! Time for an #introduction 👋
I am a serial "first designer" at startups - mostly B2B. I love making building the _right_ thing easy by establishing sustainable and user-centered design practices from the earliest stage of a company.
I'm joining this mastodon because it seems y'all enjoy sharing deep thoughts on design without making #DesignTwitter your whole life 😉
Other things to know about me: I'm visually impaired, play guitar, and love my two little chihuahuas so much 🥰

Dear #DesignTwitter, I will be closing the program at UX Copenhagen on March 23-24 with a keynote on a subject that is dear to my heart: Designers' responsibility towards the planet, and imagining a toolkit for future-proofing our survival.
Looking for alternative patterns for nested table rows, or how to handle them in a more accessible manner.
An honest #introduction:
I'm no 10X #designer, I do not magically bring 0→1 products to life. I'm not a part of #designtwitter nor—thankfully—deemed worthy of it. I do not share #design threads describing my 'process'. I do not ask you to define your 'why' when you just want some work done.
Designers are overrated, especially those who overrate themselves.
I stay humble, anonymous and outside of any design cliques or drama.

I’m over-the-moon excited to share some of the @figma FigJam brand updates we’ve started to roll out. Plus, a little typographic side quest 🤓
Yes, #designtwitter this is a thread... https://t.co/Zeg6pPxzhc
Since I've been taking a break on the bird site I've realize how much more "free" my mind is about things. I'm not trying to stay on top of what is happening on #designtwitter or feeling the need to post all the time. Makes you really take a step back and question other things that are always occupying your mind.

Top #design #tip: When designing graphs for a document, frame them.
For example, put all the chart elements like the heading, explanation, axis, descriptors and chart itself on a rectangular grey background. Makes them look like part of a system instead of floating in space.
