I'm saying that #Valve is the #LesserOfAllEvils. My #SteamDeck was broken from the start. Thank the #Middleware known as #Steam for that. As soon as you quit steam, the touchpads will stop working, you can no longer move your mouse on the screen in #DesktopMode.

They do spend real money on #Proton but it benefits them. They wouldn't do it if it didn't benefit them.
Still its a good thing they do spend the actual money and that #OpenSource gets #funded.

I'm as excited about the rumors of improved desktop modes and video out support for the Pixel 8 as the next guy, but we've fielded these kinds of rumors before.

Currently the only phone I have that can run an Android 14 beta, AND has video out, just did this using the desktop mode in Android dev settings.

Which is even more broken than the A13 desktop mode, which was already almost nonfunctional from the A12 mode.

I really WANT Google to give us a Pixel 8 with a proper desktop or tablet large screen mode, but I'm not getting my hopes up until we see the phone in action.

but I believe you can add #Dolphin as a non-steam game just as I did then use #SteamRemotePlay and in #DesktopMode control everything.

The only thing I need is an #SDCard. Don't have one..so bad luck for me. Can't follow the tutorial, it would be amazing to follow it!

If you buy a #SteamDeck make sure you already have a #computer.

If not, you can buy a dock for it and then a #keyboard so you can type quickly.

Though if you have a computer already you can use #RemotePlay / #SteamRemotePlay to connect to it by going to your Steam Deck in #DesktopMode and then adding #Dolphin #KdeDolphin as a #NonSteamGame.

Start streaming from your computer and its essentially #RemoteDesktop.

Some apps and windows will display weirdly though...talking from #MyOwnExperience!

Regarding my #SteamDeck I realized I don't need to be in #GameMode to use #RemotePlay.

It's enough to be in #DesktopMode and it still works fine!

They really did fix #SteamRemotePlay!

It still works. For pessimists, don't worry, it will probably be broken in the next couple of updates...

All this I got from searching on the search field of the #Flathub main website.

Searching for the same term on #SteamDeck in #DesktopMode on the #DiscoverStore turned 104 #SearchResults, none of which is Konqueror.

On my #SteamDeck in #GameMode with the new update #SteamDeck342 I have absolutely no problem at all.

Just #AvoidBigPicture in #DesktopMode and you're totally fine, not a worry in the world!

If you press the #SteamButton on your #SteamDeck in #DesktopMode it starts #Steam in #BigPicture?

I changed from Big Picture back to normal "#ExitBigPIctureMode". Every time you press the "#SteamButton" in Desktop Mode it enters #SteamBigPicture?

Was it always like this even before 3.4.2? #SteamDeck342.

For now I recommend against pressing the "STEAM" button while you're in Desktop Mode with the new 3.4.2 update!
