The largest group on Jobseeker Payments (the dole) in Australia are women over 60. Successive Govts.. especially Kevin (bloody) Rudd in 2009 increased the pension age to 67. This pushed women fron the aged pension to the dole at a Govt. saving of $200 per week & more if they find work. If these women do find work they pay 50%tax on any income above $75 a week. BUT it is very unlikely for these women to find work & many are on the verge of homelessness. This is #abuse of #olderwomen. #despicable
